Artist's Comments

It started out as a plain ass pencil doodle I did a while ago...I was bored cuz I finished early in my class. I looked beside me and saw my cheap colored pencils. So I decided to try coloring something without inking the outline first.Voila! This is the result.

I kept thinking how Naruto would look like if he ever fused with Kyuubi and had WAY too much time with Jiraiya.

>.< Oooohh....now if only someone would write an epic fanfic of SasukexNaruto-Kyuubi. I'd even promise to draw a fanart of it.Hee.....XD It's gotta be 20k+ words....*hint hint*

p.s. Entering this in 's contest! :D

Absolutely wonderful. I might not know much about the series, but that doesn't mean I can't appreciate the art. Your colors are vivid and vibrant, keeping the eye constantly wandering about the page and picking up new details. I can't think of many suggestions, but for one I would have to say give him a nose. After playing Final Fantasy Tactics, I wholeheartedly employ artists to keep a nose on their creations.

Lol. XD I know what you mean about FF Tactics...same applies for Vagrant Story. Lol. Although noses are one of my biggest weaknesses in art that's why I prefer not putting them on. Well thank you very much for the comment. I'll try my best in the nose department next time! XD

If I've learned anything from the world of anime-ish art, it's that you don't have to do very much for a nose. Often I've lately seen noses as nothing more than little nicks on the paper, but they work a lot better than nothing at all, as long as they're placed correctly. You should try doing a few little faces on a blank piece of paper and experimenting with nose placement and shape, in case larger, more intricate lines work better for you. Geeze, listen to me prattle on about noses :p
:iconahou:
lol. You seem too have a fascination with noses? XD Yeah I've been trying that for the longest time...but it just seems that my noses always come out all weird and stuff....so...*blink* I omit them when I'm too damn lazy to make the effort.

I'l heed your advise though...more practice for me~~~!

WHOA that's really good. The pose and the colors and everything! And the shading and the prettiness and...I'll stop now. O_O I love his hair, by the way. =D

Keep up the great work!

Very cool! I love the effect of the colored pencil, and his expression.

Now the question would be, 'What is his name?'

LOVE the colours Ahou. If Naruto actually looked like that in the series I would probably make him one of my favourite characters. *is killed by all Naruto lovers* t can't be helped, I'm a Neji fan!! *pets your Naruto's hair and fuzzy tails*

Naruto fans - You can't pet his tails...you don't like him!!
Makio - No no, I like THIS Naruto.
Naruto fans - That's being selfish! You can't love one Naruto and pet his tails without loving ALL Narutos!!
Makio - Why not!!! *is pulled away from Ahou's sexy Naruto and thrown into a garbage can*
Naruto Fans - That's where you belong you shallow being!
Makio - @.@ wha...wha???
